Saint Paul Stars requires the active participation of parents in the support of the swimmers, coaches and the club. The Parent Association has been active since the club's inception. Individual and team fund raising opportunities are coordinated by the Parent Association and include a variety of activities.

In 2003 the Parent Association moved to form a nonprofit corporation to better support the club's activities through grant applications and sponsorships. The mission of the Saint Paul Stars Synchronized Swimming Parent Association is educational and charitable: its activities are directed toward supporting the synchronized swimming program of the Saint Paul Stars Synchronized Swimming Team.

Saint Paul Stars Synchronized Swimming Parent Association (the "Association") is a Minnesota nonprofit corporation organized and operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes. The activities of the Association are directed toward supporting the Saint Paul Stars Synchronized Swimming Team’s work of developing swimmer skills and promoting competition in the sport of synchronized swimming. The mission of the Association is to support:
(1) the development of skills and abilities of girls in the metropolitan Saint Paul area through synchronized swimming,
(2) the organization and participation of swimmers and teams of swimmers at all levels, from beginner to nationally competitive,
(3) the building of lasting relationships among swimmers, their families and coaches,
(4) leadership development among the more experienced swimmers, enabling them to function as coaches for the younger swimmers, and
(5) educating the community about the sport of synchronized swimming and the opportunities available through the team.

This support is primarily financial and promotional. The Association is committed to instilling the traditional values of team and individual sports and demonstrating the collective benefit of teamwork.
