About the Saint Paul stars

Details Each swimmer is placed in a Team of 4 to 8 swimmers, who are similar in age and skill level.

The entire St. Paul Stars is typically grouped into 5 or 6 Teams.

Each swimmer will also be placed in a Small Routine (solo, duet or trio).

Practice times are divided into Beginning/Intermediate times and Advanced times.

We use 3 pools: Humboldt H.S., Cherokee Elementary, and Harding H.S. depending on the time of year.

Typical Weekly Practice Schedule
Beginning late October, the weekly schedule runs through mid-May. Older and advanced swimmers may qualify for additional meets in June and July. There are several week-long practice breaks which include holidays.

Tuesday Beginning and intermediate swimmers 5:00-6:30 p.m.;
Age group (advanced) swimmers 6:00-8:30 p.m.
Humboldt High School

Friday Age group (advanced) swimmers 5:00-7:30 p.m.;
Beginning and intermediate swimmers 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Cherokee Elementary School (enter through back door by loading dock)

Saturday Beginning and intermediate swimmers 9:30-11:30 a.m.;
Age group (advanced) swimmers 10:00-12:00 a.m.
A Team swimmers 10:30-2:00
